Teach

Teaching is central to my practice. I approach each class as a collaborative space where curiosity, experimentation, and critical thinking are encouraged. From etching and relief to lithography, I guide students through both the technical craft and the conceptual depth of printmaking, helping them find their own voice.

My teaching philosophy is shaped by my experiences in cooperative print studios in Mexico, as well as my ongoing engagement with historical, political, and cultural discourse. I meet students where they are, nurturing creativity while emphasizing practical skills and problem-solving. Whether in a university studio or a community workshop, I aim to inspire meaningful artistic exploration that resonates beyond the classroom.

Empower

Ultimately, my goal as an educator is to foster an environment where students feel empowered to experiment, challenge conventions, and find their artistic voice within a broader historical and cultural framework. By blending technical mastery with conceptual inquiry, I strive to equip students with the skills and confidence to sustain meaningful and dynamic artistic practices.
